Built To Seat Three Rows, Not Just Stretched

Rather than simply lengthening the Grand Cherokee to add a third row, Jeep gave the Commander a stepped roofline that lifts the rear seats above the front ones - a trick borrowed from the same playbook as the GMC Envoy XL. The result is an upright windscreen and squared-off door and rear glass that looks nothing like its sister SUV's, despite the shared unibody underneath.

Whether you've got the entry-level Sport, a mid-range Limited or the flagship Overland, the glass shape stays the same across the range - trim level changes the badge and equipment, not the window openings this kit is cut to.

Each piece is pre cut in advance rather than trimmed on the car, and goes on dry with no spray adhesive to work around. Front and rear are ordered as separate percentage depths, from a light 70% through to a near-black 5%, so you can run the two ends of the car at different shades if you'd rather.

Will Grand Cherokee glass fit a Commander, or vice versa? No - the stepped roof reshapes the openings on the Commander, so this pattern is specific to it and won't cross over to its sister model.
