The Jaguar XJ8 that arrived in 1997 was the first XJ to carry a V8, and this window tint kit is pre-cut for the XJ, XJ8 and XJ8L from 1997 to 2003. It covers the front doors and the rear window, with a shade for each from a light 70% to a deep 5%, or either one left out.
Cut to the Saloon's Glass
The pieces are shaped in advance for the XJ range's windows, so the film arrives ready to apply rather than needing to be marked out and trimmed.
Front Doors and Rear, Separately
The front doors take their own shade, chosen from 70%, 50%, 35%, 20% or 5%, and the rear window takes another. They do not have to match, and either window can be left as it is.
Putting the Film On
Clean the glass, wet it, lay each piece in place and work it flat from the middle outwards. With only the front doors and rear window included, there are just a few pieces to handle.
Standard and Long-Wheelbase Cars
