This second-generation Odyssey went on sale in Japan in December 1999 as a thorough overhaul of the low-floor people-carrier formula Honda had introduced with the first generation. It's the version UK import specialists generally know as the Shuttle/Odyssey, brought in from the Japanese domestic market rather than sold new through Honda's own UK showrooms, and it's built around ordinary hinged rear doors rather than the sliding doors later Odyssey generations would adopt.

One window shape across the whole 1999-2004 run

A styling update in November 2001 brought a new grille, redesigned front bumper, larger badging and clear-lens rear light units, but it stopped at the trim - the window and door glass shapes carried over unchanged. That means this kit is cut once for the Odyssey's window openings and fits the full 1999-2004 range, before or after that update, four-cylinder or V6.

Built for the JDM import crowd who rate practicality as much as rarity

Buyers who go to the trouble of importing a Japanese-market Odyssey tend to want it finished properly rather than left looking like a straight import, and a clean tint job is one of the easiest ways to do that.
