Mercedes carried the GL through to 2016 without touching the headlight design, then folded the facelift and the switch to the GLS name into a single update for 2017 - sleeker lights included. That means every GL badged 2013 to 2016 shares one headlight shape, and this kit is cut for it. Built for the family that wanted three rows without a Range Rover price tag

The GL sat at the top of Mercedes' SUV range as a seven-seat flagship, aimed at buyers cross-shopping the Range Rover, Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator, and the range topped out with the hand-built twin-turbo V8 GL63 AMG. Whichever engine's under the bonnet, the badge is doing a lot of the same work.
