The Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster swaps a fixed roof for frameless door glass and a folding top, which changes what a window tint kit needs to get right. This pre-cut kit is computer cut specifically for the 2018 to 2021 GT Roadster's front door windows and rear glass, following the frameless door profile so the tint sits flush against the seal rather than leaving a gap at the edge on that first drop of the glass - something a generic, one-size template can't account for.

Front and rear are tinted independently, from a barely-there shade through to a near-black finish, so you can run the same tint all round or go darker at the back for a more graduated look, and it's supplied as a 2-ply film that's noticeably more forgiving to fit than the single-ply film some competitors still use as standard.

Why Roadster Owners Tint

With the roof down there's more sun landing directly on the cabin than you'd get in a coupe, so the glass that is tinted has to work harder - cutting glare, easing the heat on the seats, and protecting the leather from fading over time.
